Bumble Illustrations
I worked with Bumble to create a set of 20+ illustrations for their new in-app feature, the Safety Center. The Safety Center aims to provide practical support for their users in their online dating experiences, with help articles ranging from topics like first date etiquette to dating during COVID-19.
Illustration plays a unique role at Bumble: it can make the app feel more welcoming, inclusive, and most importantly, safe. I aimed to have each illustration reflect Bumble’s nature through the representation of diverse groups of people, and by reframing the story behind each article to shine a positive light on topics that might normally cause apprehension.
